Streptococcus in fish for raw consumption

A study in Singapore recently found that the fish which eaten raw or slighlty heat in hot porridge can carry Streptococcus Group B bacteria, the one which can cause meningoencephalitis in new born babies and encephalitis, sepsis in adults. Scientists believed eating raw fish is the cause of 2015 Streptococcus Group B outbeak. Full article:
